This is the client’s first investment property. They were flexible and open to any type of property but preferably tenanted with a long lease if purchasing in the regional area. They wanted a minimum rental yield of 7% and their primary outcome was cashflow. What we managed to help them secure was an Industrial investment on the Sunshine Coast. This was a strategy lead investment already returning 7%, with a number of options for them to increase the rental yield and therefore capital value on the property.
